Sometimes we all need a friend to remind us that Gods got us! Just like Jahaziel reminded Jehoshaphat “do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but Gods.” -2 Chronicles 20:15

God picked you to be those precious babies mommy! Through Him you are enough! He gives us everything we need to be the best we can. We need not to worry how God will take care of the battles. Like Sherry & Tracey said… it’s His problem, His battle, and all we have to do is stand firm.

I love the idea of a mommy S.W.A.T. Team! Do you have your go to mom friends? I’d say I do because my two moms I go to fall in each of these four roles. I encourage you to build yours if you don’t have a team. I feel like every mommy no matter the stage needs a good support team of other moms.
“Satan doesn’t want out to succeed as a mom.” -(Sherry & Tracey) 1 Peter 5:8 reminds us the devil is always prowling looking for someone to devour. Our SWAT team can help us to be alert and sober minded.

Ephesians 6 Armour of God

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Do you put on the Armour of God daily?
I most days need a good reminder of this.
xoxo, A

One thought on “Day 4 I WILL STAND FIRM

  1. This devo today really spoke to me… Being that my child (I only have one child) is only 19 months, there are things that bother me being a first time mom and I truly believe some of those things are silly and it’s just Satan trying to get me down. There are a few moms I get nervous around because I feel as if they are judging me either as a person or my parenting style. This makes me super insecure and I believe that is Satan trying to steal my Mommy joy away. I really appreciated the reminder of James 4:7, which said “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ” AMEN! I also am thankful for my sweet group of mommy friends that I have.
