Week 3 Day 4 The Danger of Comparisons

How often do you find yourself comparing yourself to others? This is so easy to do! It can be someone you see at a store with the perfect outfit. It could be the mom who has it all together and kids well dress that you hope you can be like one day. It can happen at anytime but if we truly know what God made you for it’s easier.

Do you have it all figured out?!? Because I’m still trying to figure out what He created me to do!

They point out that comparing yourself to others isn’t always bad if it encourages you to learn to be better at something.

I encourage you all to take the DISC test online and see what your professional personality profile is.

  1. I am definitely guilty of comparing myself to other moms at times. However, not every time was a negative thing because it encouraged me to do better in that area. Unfortunately there have been times it was negative, though. This lesson reminded me that God chose me to be Solomon’s mommy for a reason and rather than comparing myself to other moms who seem to have it all together, to focus on myself and my child and bringing glory to Christ. It’s so easy to get caught up in silly things and forget our purpose in raising that child; and that purpose is to further God’s Kingdom and bring honor and glory to Him.
