Week 3 Day 5 ARE YOU RUNNING ON EMPTY?

Week 3 Day 5 ARE YOU RUNNING ON EMPTY?
I have never liked breakfast, growing up breakfast just never appealed to me. But once I had kids and they started waking up at 3:30am breakfast became a necessity. Much like our bodies need refueling, our spirits need refueling as well. I often find myself opening my Bible in the middle of the day just to find a verse that speaks to me in that moment. “Times of solitude and space to hear from God will fuel your mom heart.”
-Where can you carve out at least 5 minutes a day to spend time with God?
(I use the time right before I go to sleep to read 3 chapters of my Bible every night)
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
Make time for God every day and I promise He will be faithful to bless your life in ways you cannot even imagine!!

  1. I definitely struggle with making time everyday to be with God. I’ve recently started waking up with my husband and get at least 15-20 minutes of time before the kiddos start waking up.

  2. It often times seems that there aren’t enough hours in a day. Having said that, it’s so easy to focus on getting things done that I didn’t make the time for God that He most certainly deserves. This devotional definitely reminded me how important it is to have time with God every day. We have to refuel in God’s word and prayer to be able to keep going.
